Our Mission

The mission of Oregon Charter Academy is to prepare all students for success in a global society through an inclusive, rigorous academic environment. Our staff delivers live, daily interaction to students while providing effortless access to a carefully curated curriculum designed to build on the Four C’s, skills that ensure readiness for post-secondary education and professional life. These include:

Students learn to apply analytics and problem-solving while maintaining awareness of their own thought processes.

CRITICAL THINKING

Through peer interactions, group projects, and other activities, students understand the importance of working together to achieve a common goal.

COLLABORATION

Students learn to articulate ideas in a variety of mediums and contexts, including the virtual communication that is so vital to modern workplaces.

COMMUNICATION

Problem-solving and innovative thinking fuel new ideas, while students gain the ability to evaluate reasonable risks and manage real-world limitations.

CREATIVITY

Every aspect of our curriculum emphasizes these Four C’s by using cutting-edge technology like the Canvas learning platform, and state-of-the-art teaching techniques to ensure students receive a comprehensive, future-focused education.
