Digital Arts, Media, and Graphic Design Pathway
The Digital Arts, Media, and Graphic Design pathway prepares students to bring creative ideas to life through visual communication and digital technology. Students learn skills such as graphic design, digital illustration, photography, video production, animation, web design, branding, and multimedia storytelling while using industry-standard software and tools. Through hands-on projects, students develop creativity, critical thinking, communication, and technical skills as they create digital content for print, web, social media, and interactive platforms. This pathway can lead to careers such as graphic designer, multimedia artist, animator, photographer, videographer, web designer, marketing specialist, and creative director. Students build a strong foundation for college, industry certifications, apprenticeships, and careers in the growing fields of digital media, design, and creative technology.

MS. CARLY PEDERSON
Ms. Pederson has a Bachelor's degree in Studio Art and a Masters degree in Online Teacher Leadership. She has experience in the fields of graphic design, photography and traditional art as well including drawing, painting, ceramics, and even basket weaving. She is excited to help students realize their creative career dreams through ASCEND!
